Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026. Applies to all PrintRank accounts.

1. What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data: email address and authentication credentials, handled via Supabase Auth.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, opportunities saved/watched, and similar in-product activity.
  • Billing data (PRO tier): handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — PrintRank does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Error/diagnostic data: automatically captured via Sentry to help us fix bugs — this may include stack traces and request context, not intentionally collected personal content.

We do not collect data about the physical 3D-printed products you make or sell.

2. How we use it

We use collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service (authenticate you, remember your preferences, deliver the opportunity feed).
  • Process subscription billing.
  • Diagnose and fix bugs.
  • Communicate with you about your account, invites, or material changes to the Service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-party services we use

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Sentry — error monitoring.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email (invite, account, and sign-in messages).
  • Stripe — payment processing.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We choose providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.

If you sign up using a Partner Program creator’s referral link or code, that creator can see, on their own Partner dashboard, a partially masked version of your username (e.g. “jo*******”) and whether your account is currently on the FREE or PRO tier — this is how we show creators which signups came from them and let them see their own referral activity. We do not share your email address, full username, or any other account or activity data with them.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

PrintRank uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service:

  • Authentication cookies set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in.
  • A short-lived invite cookie that remembers a pending invite while you finish creating your account.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics that profile you, and we do not run session-recording or “replay” tools. Because we rely only on essential cookies, the Service functions without a tracking-consent banner in most jurisdictions. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies or analytics, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your own account at any time from the Danger Zone on your Account page — no need to email us. When you do: your session is signed out immediately everywhere, your account becomes unusable right away, and after a 30-day window your account and associated personal data (profile, submitted feedback) are permanently deleted, including your underlying sign-in identity. We email a confirmation when you request deletion (with a “wasn’t me” contact line in case it wasn’t you) and again once the permanent deletion happens. Changed your mind during the 30-day window? Email contact@printrank.io before it completes and we’ll cancel it — this one step is handled manually rather than through a self-service undo. We may retain limited data as required for legal, billing, or security purposes after deletion.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Depending on where you live these may be legal rights (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA); we extend them to every PrintRank account regardless of location rather than limiting them by jurisdiction.

Access and export are self-service: the Account page’s Danger Zone has an “Export my data” button that downloads your account and activity data as a JSON file immediately, and a “Delete my account” control (see section 5). For anything else — correction, objection to processing, or a question about either — email contact@printrank.io from the address on your account. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to complete the request within 30 days. We will not charge you for making a request, and we will not degrade your service for having made one.

One scope note, so the above is not read more broadly than we mean it: the export and access rights cover data about you — your account, your settings, and your in-product activity. The market intelligence itself (opportunity scores, demand and competition data, and the underlying research) is PrintRank’s own data, not your personal data, and is not included in an export.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls, and Supabase’s row-level security) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

PrintRank is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email before taking effect.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@printrank.io.
