Not yet reviewed by an attorney or a professional accessibility auditor. This describes our real, current effort and known gaps honestly rather than claiming a compliance level we haven’t verified.
Our commitment
PrintRank is built for anyone with a 3D printer looking to make money with it — that includes people using assistive technology. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the widely-used standard for web accessibility, and treat accessibility bugs with the same priority as any other bug.
What we’ve done
- A “skip to main content” link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element — nothing relies on hover alone.
- Minimum 44×44px touch targets on icon-only controls.
- Status and license information is always shown as text, never conveyed by color alone.
- Automated accessibility linting (
eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y) runs on every code change to catch regressions before they ship.
Known gaps
We haven’t yet completed:
- A full manual screen-reader pass (VoiceOver/NVDA) across every page.
- A formal color-contrast audit of the dark theme against every state (hover, disabled, badges).
- Third-party accessibility testing or a VPAT.
We’re actively working through these.
